Kaziranga National Park has no dearth of distinct flora and fauna. Due to which it is designated as one of the famous World Heritage Site in 1985. Kaziranga National Park was established in the year 1905 as a Reserve forest. Since than it has achieved a notable success in wildlife conservation. Earlier it was the home to seven different types of vultures which are now on the verge of extinction. Some of the famous birds that are available in this park are Bengal Florican, Blyth’sKingfisher, Swamp Francolin, White- Bellied Heron, Dalmatian Pelican, Spot-billed Pelican, Eastern Imperial, Grey Headed fish eagle etc.
